Other Departmetns Driving Me CRAZY There's this (relatively) new girl in the Sales department who for now is working as an aide to one of our more incompetent Sales Buffoons. For one reason or another she has a whole host of questions which demand my attention just about every hour, often several times in an hour. Its getting a little annoying.

I understand that she is new to this game and I also understand that she is working under a guy who makes all sorts of random ass shite up when he sells people something. This guy sells people things they can't use, which is despicable enough but I understand that sometimes sales folks are like that. The funny/sad thing is that this guy doesn't even realize that he's selling these people things they don't need/can't use. If he did, he would sell them more expensive things, rather than the bottom-of-the-barrel products he hocks for us. It is this guy who has made me consider going into sales just to get his ass out of here by cutting all his numbers. And truthfully, I think I would enjoy selling this guy's clients out form under him. I have a low tolerance for incompetence, which this guy oozes. Meh, maybe I'm being to harsh. I suppose I would let it slide if I didn't have to personally go and clean up his sales disasters.

Now, of course, I get his aide/assistant instead of him. I guess that's a little better, but it is dismaying to see that this guy hasn't learned a goddamn thing but is now just relying on the assistant to mop up after him. She does the best she can, but she is given some serious train wrecks and there's always something she can't solve without help. *sigh* To the most competent go the problems. Answers must be had, and people will instinctively gravitate to where they know that answers can be found. Sadly for me, that means I have a steady stream of people in & out of my office.
