What's the News? At the risk of sounding like a jerk to all the good people who survived a plane wreck, who cares about this plane going off a runway in Canada? Seriously? How much news time do we need to devote to this subject? I listen to NPR over the Internet as I work and this story was covered non-stop throughout the day. I see it as a total waste of a day. Did nothing else happen yesterday? Something is totally whacked in the world where an even as trivial as a plane running off a runway in rainy weather gets so much attention.
