More Drama Than Your Baby Mama ...
So after lunch yesterday I'm sitting in the break room and I hear this ruckus going on outside in the hallway. People scrambling back and forth. So, of course, I poke my head out there to see what was going on. That old maxim about cats never registered with me.

Everyone is running to the door because apparently something of grave importance was taking place in the parking lot on the side of our building. But no one was going outside. So I go and look out the glass doors and I see one of our CSRs in her car being chased around by a Geo Metro. I recognized the man behind the wheel of the Metro as her husband. He was trying to box her in, and kept cutting her off whenever she would try to pull away. It was a scene to say the least. BTW, the Metro pictured is *not* the Metro he was driving. His was much more manky. If you don't know what "manky" means go
here or
here for definitions.
Finally our Director of Special Projects (what a title ...) comes out to confront this guy (I presume). But Mr. Metro was having none of it and sped off. Shortly thereafter the police arrived, and they interviewed the CSR. I don't know what the cause of this scene was, or why it was taking place outside our office, but I will say that it was a fun diversion from the monotonous tedium that is our office work. Of course, I do hope the best for the CSR and her husband, and i hope that there's no violence involved there. She did come to work today minus any visible bruises, so that's a plus (she's also an ex-Marine, so go figure ...)
