New News Thingy Ok, so in light of the current event taking place in London I was drawn to some site where they had a nifty gadget in their sidebar from Rawstory. I totally stole this, as it is super cool. I also got rid of the other news links as it just looked a little too cluttered to have the table and text links below it or to have text links & then the table beneath them. Simplify. Occcam's Razor.

In work related news I've been promised in writing via email a raise for my "outstanding" work. It always feels good to get recognition, but at the same time I've heard this little song & dance before, with no tangible results. I always hold out hope that this time it will be different. Perhaps I am an enabler of my company? Weird. I'll let you pscho-knowledgeable folks play with that one. Either way, we are a small company and I always try to give people the benefit of the doubt.  ¶ 8:15 AM
