Ever have one of those days where you think the stupidest people on the planet must be the ones you share office space with? Happens to me sometimes. People just get under the skin, they grate on the nerves.

 

Today one of the CSRs (or as they prefer to be called Account Executives) somehow got a call from one of our out-of-state offices. The OSO had not been paid for awhile and they were understandably a little upset. It happens, this is business. I heard the Account Executive talking to this woman and not knowing what to do. They don't mess with the OSO's. I yelled that I would take the call, transfer to me. Nothing doing, he kept on blubbering to the OSO. I IM'd him the same thing: I'll take this, don't worry about it. Still nothing. Then he IM's: "I'm referring this to XXXXXXX, my boss". Why? What the hell is XXXXXXX gonna do but give it to me? At this point though I just shot back a "do it your way" which was met with a "don't start with me" and then I fumed. I wanted to strangle this little twerp. How unprofessional! You know what happens next? He complains that he's having to do other people's work and he doesn't have time for that. It just blows my mind. I was willing to take the call, there's nothing he could do and he just defies me to defy me. That is what really gets me. I was offering a hand to help in the matter and he just CHOSE to be a f*cktard.

 

This same Account Executive has bemoaned the lack of "class" & "education" of his colleagues here. All the while implying that he possesses these two attributes. The guy was a gym teacher prior to this gig. Before that he worked at a deli. His business attire is jeans and a baseball cap some days. Wanna start with me about class and education ... Fuming.
